Arguably, no Christmas list would be complete without at least one of the many Star Wars toys on it and the 2016 Christmas toys list is no exception.

This year the Star Wars BB-8 Droid and the Star Wars Electronic R2D2 are right up there as one of the hot Christmas toys with the astromech BB8 being a more tech friendly model by being app-enabled. Now, this should be no surprise.

Lucasfilm’s Star Wars franchise is epic, to put it mildly, spawning an area monopoly that’s arguably comparable to none. With numerous awards, the force is definitely very strong with them.

If you want galactic fun, Star Wars LEGO sets, action figures and light sabers, then Star Wars is your obvious choice. Then there are the collectors–an entire different species.

True Star Wars fans stockpile a treasure hove of Star Wars collectibles, ranging from the early days of the classic Star Wars (from the original Star Wars movie) through today when we’re currently awaiting the release of Star Wars: Rogue One.

Collectors of Star Wars memorabilia have a passion for not just the Star Wars characters such as the early Darth Vader, Princess Leia, Yoda, Chewbacca to the more recent BB-8 Droid from Star Wars: The Force Awakens; and now we’re waiting in anticipation for Star Wars: Rogue One.

The Star Wars action figures–good guys (Hans Solo, Luke Skywalker, General Ackbar, C-3P0) as well as the bad guys (Darth Vader, Palpatine, the Storm Troopers, Commander Cody)–to name only a few all no doubt are part of every Star Wars memorabilia collector’s fortune.

Beginning in 1977 with the release of Star Wars, the franchise has been almost nonstop with movie hits: The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi. Then the hits just kept on coming with Episode 1: Phantom Menace; Episode II: Attack of the Clones; Episode III: Revenge of the Sith; Star Wars: The Clone Wars; Star Wars: The Force Awakens. There seems to be no end to the development of this franchise so we (Star Wars fanatics) can wait in anticipation for the next and best Star Wars.

Whether it’s for Halloween costumes as a member of the rebel alliance being decked out in a costume to protect the galaxy from the Galactic Empire or on the dark side with the tyrannical empire, you’ll likely feel a part of it all just by being immersed in the fantastic fantasy Star Wars world.
